Close up's - Legs, 10th Jan
This is a close up of "P8's" legs. Note the fleshy colour starting to turn yellow at the top. This would fit it being a YLG rather than a herring gull. However, we can not rule out an Argentatus HG (a small number of HGs found in the UK will have yellow legs - originating from coastal Scandinavia). There are lots of referrences to "Omissous" but certain writers say these do not exist as a race. Herring gulls with yellow legs are however real, and hence this is not a defining factor, but favours it not being a HG.
