Herring Gull first flight
Final image is the Herring gull on it's first flight. It spent 10 mins flying up and down practising flying and occasionally getting bombed by 'mum' - presumably telling him to keep his chin up or something similar. Note the lighter coverts and the pale wing panels on the inner primaries, unlike the LBB.
