Lesser Scaup

Lesser Scaup

Shot at Cosmeston.
Points of interest. Firstly the 'bobble' on the back of the head, rather than the tuft of the tufted duck.
Secondly the pattern on the underwing. Note the white on the secondaries giving a white bar but only up to where the primaries start. On a tufted duck (or a Scaup), the white would continue through the primaries to I think P5. Can anyone confirm this? Please leave a comment if you can.
