The following images were taken on our recent trip to Shetland and Fair Isle in May 2015. Highlights of the trip were some very rare birds such as the Corncrake and Moltoni's Warbler. Thanks to Del Shaw and Phil Harris for the help in finding them along with the staff at the Fair Isle Bird Observatory (FIBO).
Overall, we saw 102 species on our trip door to door from Dinas Powys in South Glamorgan to Shetland - Fair Isle - Shetland and back and 85 species on Shetland/Fair Isle.
