Little Ringed Plovers

Breeding pairs of Little Ringed Plovers are quite rare in the UK and are protected (Schedule 1 list). I have therefore not given a location for this pair. The shot was taken from a well used hide where there was no disturbance to the birds. This pair nest on a small island 2-300metres away from where the shot was taken.
